Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre

Extension and Refurbishment of Existing Theatre Centre

The Scottish mask and puppet centre has been based in a former Glasgow council cleansing department building since 1989.  The Centre has now out grown the building and a new theatre will be created by converting the existing stores and adding ??sqm of new floor area (doubling the size of the existing centre).  A new museum, larger café, new teaching rooms and lots more display space will be also created.

We have been involved with this project from the very early design stage, overseeing the design process and we are currently preparing for the planning application.  This is very exciting project to be involved with and we look forward to seeing it through to completion.

If you happen to be visiting Glasgow I would highly recommend going to see a show at the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre.  It is a very characterful place and has wide variety of old puppets and masks on show.  Find out more information at www.maskandpuppet.co.uk.
